First of all, writing a match report 7 weeks after the event is not the smartest thing to do. As a result, this match report will contain few details and will not be too long. Apologies.
Tuesday April 17, one of the first summer days in the Netherlands with no less than 25 degrees on the thermometer! Terraces are packed, the birds are chirping and ladies are wearing short skirts... What better way to end this beautiful day than with a home game against Klimop MW1! We were in a good flow as we had won both the matches of April 3 & 10. As a result, the team had full confidence in keeping the points at home again in this match, especially with Tavi as captain. What I do remember is the score
was always the same in the beginning. Later, Klimop took a slight lead. Yet we came back around the end so that it became very exciting. The tension and the hot weather therefore made me sweat a lot. Unfortunately, Klimop pulled out the end, resulting in a final score of 18-19. The following week we were able to take revenge immediately because we had to face Klimop again.
