Every year Melmac, like all other student korfball associations, organizes its own tournament: the Alf-Trophy. Traditionally, this kicks off on Saturday evening with a cantus, after which, after an overnight stay in the Sports Center of Tilburg University, the participating teams will attempt korfball on Sunday. At the end of the tournament, the teams receive a cake to enjoy after playing korfball on Sunday.

Every year Melmac organizes a Friends and Family Tournament. This tournament is especially for friends and family of Melmac members, where you can register half or a full team to participate in a fun korfball tournament on a summer Sunday afternoon in June. It doesn't matter whether your team consists of people who have been playing korfball fanatically for years or people who have only just heard of the fact that the ball has to go through the basket and not against it; everyone is welcome!

Once a year Melmac organizes a G-korfball tournament. Traditionally, this takes place on one of the last Saturdays in May. There is a fierce battle for first place, but at the end of the tournament everyone can call themselves a winner, as - just like in real student korfball tournaments - a delicious cake has been baked for each participating team.

From the 2022-2023 season, Melmac will organize its own pair shooting tournament. Everyone, regardless of whether you are a member of SKV Melmac, can come for an evening of match shooting on a weekday evening in mid-April. The aim is to score more goals than your opponents from about five meters away together with your team member.

Every student korfball association (SKV) in the Netherlands organizes its own tournament once a year for all other student korfball associations. Melmac tries to visit as many tournaments as possible every year and we can proudly say that we brought a bit of Brabant fun to every tournament last season. These tournaments usually start on Saturday evening with a few beers, after which an attempt at korfball is made on Sunday.

In addition to the Dutch student korfball tournaments, SKV Melmac also visits a number of foreign tournaments: the EIKT in Edinburgh, which takes place in the last weekend of January, and Nitra in Nitra, Slovakia, which takes place in early July. These international tournaments are great to participate in, as you get to know korfball players from different countries. In addition, Melmac usually includes a city trip to Budapest or Edinburgh, for example, in order to get to know the local culture.
