On Saturday evening the anniversary season of Wie is de Mol? finally started. This year it is playing in Italy with the theme: Renaissance. Which is a fancy word for: rebirth. How appropriate would you say that on Saturday afternoon - the same day - the rebirth of the SKV Melmac weekend team took place.
After a few years of absence, the participants of the weekend team returned to the playing field on Saturday afternoon. The opponent: de Hazenkamp. Melmac had only one goal in mind: to unravel the opponent's tactics and score as many goals as possible during the match. From the start, Melmac was on a roll and soon opened up a 4-goal gap. Ideal, you would say. But Mollenkamp, I mean Hazenkamp, came back into the game. It was an exciting battle. The teams were “evenly matched”.
More and more goals were scored. Until finally a total of 24 were made. Fortunately, not everything was distributed fairly, but the first test was achieved by Melmac by leaving the battlefield with a 14-10 victory. And as for the away team? They returned to Nijmegen with a red screen. Those who remained of the game, in the form of the supporters and the Melmac selection, continued to talk about the first victory of many for a long time. PS Sven is the Mole. Otherwise he would have scored in the match. By: Stefan Rietjens
